So much time...so little to do...

So today I discovered that the apartment complex next door has an exercise room. Score! Now I can work out without paying for a gym membership! My favorite part is that the gym equipment is right next to the foosball, air hockey and ping pong table. You can only image my surprise when a group of guys came down to play a little ping pong..."Oh, don't mind me...I always look like I'm dying when I'm exercising...carry on." MLIA.

In other news, I recently interviewed at a girl's treatment center. I really hope I get this job. It would be a lot of fun. Plus - I'd feel like I was actually doing something worth while.

Stupid Car.

So I was on my way to Lehi on Friday, driving on the freeway, when suddenly my car stopped accelerating. Or course when it stops working just as my fuel indicator lits up. Thanks a lot, you bitch. Sorry...Anyways, after feeling like a total retard for 5 minutes I call up my sister and ask her to bring me gas. So I had a half hour to burn playing games on my cell phone. Luckily, I stashed away some candy for emergencies like these.

Story goes on...my sister brings me gas. I thank her and get in my car and....it doesn't start. What the hell? It just makes this clicky clicggk clsjdfhka chusidfbang noise. SO we leave the car by the side of the road. Poor little car. He's got the heart of a champion!

Thankfully, my brother-in-law, Mike, has a friend who is a mechanic. (Better yet he has AAA! Yay. So I got my car towed for free. Church is true!) Anyways, it turns out I needed a new alternator and a *enter fancy word here* belt. Good news: it costed less then $150. Bad news: I also need a new battery soon. Knowing my good luck I'll get stranded again because my battery dies. Stupid car. We're in a fight.

Random thoughts: since I don't even know what an alternator is why do I need a new one?? I'd rather spend the money on something I could appreciate and show to my friends. Now if anyone comes over I'm going to show them my new alternator...and they better like it!

Life sucks then you die...

So...I was just thinking that I was raised with the delusional belief that having a college degree would open doors in the future. 100% False. I can't even get a job at taco bell. I'm sure glad I'm spent 4 years and thousands of dollars going to college so that I could get a job making minimum wage! Sorry, I don't mean to sound bitter. But I totally am.

So I saw this movie trailer today. It was like the story of my life. Minus the ridiculously hott boy and living with my parents (although I won't rule that out...).

My brother, David, is coming into town tomorrow. I'm so excited. He's my favorite.
I was looking through random pictures today and came across this little gem. Nothing like a Sunday afternoon nap. I seriously have the cutest siblings ever. Really.

When I'm 80 years old and David dies (sorry Dave) I'll still remember the time he picked me up one day to go grocery shopping. I get in the car and he looks at me, smells the air, and asks "what's that nice smell?" Without missing a beat he goes... "OH, it's ME!" And then starts giggling like a little school girl. It was amazing...I guess you had to be there! :) So random.

Any who, I'm going to make this tomorrow. Because it looks delicious. And because I'm hungry. Stop judging me.

Graduation

So I did it. I'm done. I graduated! I can't believe I've been working on this for more then 4 years. It's bitter sweet. More sweet then bitter. In fact, just sweet. No more homework. I'll never have to take a test again. I wont have to B.S. another paper! Church is true!

So now I have to become a normal adult. Get a full-time job with benefits. But I'm not old enough. I'm not ready! Oh...sad day. I don't want to work a 9-5 job. I'll be too tired. And cranky. And have no time for friends and family! Maybe I should just get pregnant and let the government take care of me...

Anyways, the graduation ceremony...Elder Ballard came to speak. I was expecting a talk about living a righteous life or congratulationing us on our achievements. But instead he talked about not getting defensive when discuss our religion...a real pick-me-up sort of talk...false...

Oh! Random story. My parents were looking for me as I entered the Marriott Center but they couldn't see me. So they each took a line to watch when all of a sudden they look up at the giant screen and there is my face! I noticed there was a camera taping all the graduates entering...so I decided to smile...and apparently they caught it all. Slightly embarrassing.

On the second day of graduation my mother dragged me to meet the president. To say the least I was slightly mortified. My brother in law called this her "Uncle Ben" moment. She want to meet the president and tell him all about our family and how we had all graduated for BYU. It actually turned out well. We meet him and my mother gave him an entire folder about our family. It was kinda cute. We then took some picture. Not as painful as I thought. They also gave us ice cream for coming. The ice cream made my whole college experience worth it.

So now I'm job hunting. Updating my resume and sending it out. Well...that's the idea. Once I finish my resume...I'm a little lazy...

So I'm interning this summer at the Mid-Michigan Children's Museum and the Dow Event Center. I enjoy my time at the Dow because they've basically made me a secretary...so I get to chat with friends and check my email during work. My favorite is when everyone leaves the office for lunch because then I can listen to music. Although, I was listening to David Archuleta the other day when my boss came back early...that's embarrassing...I'm pretty sure he judged me a little.

Besides that my boss must think I'm a complete idiot. I'm constantly asking him who to transfer calls to and where to direct people. I think he thought I would come to work knowing how the business already operated! But alas I did not.

Working at the Children's Museum took a little while to get used to. First of all I had to learn how to spell museum...its sad that I'm not joking...Oh, and have I mention that I don't like children? Don't get me wrong, I like my neices and nephews, but not random children. They're sticky, jump all over you, and when I'm with them I have a tendency of coming away with markers all over my hands and clothes....grrr....

Good news, I got two new swimsuits! I bought one and then found another one...and couldn't decide which one I liked better. So I got both. I was going to take one back but then I got lazy and just kept both.

A few weeks ago when I was still looking for a swimsuit I came across this little number. I can only image my sister-in-law's face if I came out of the house wearing that! bahahaha...

I saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince yesterday! It was amazing. Yes, that's right, I'm a nerd.

Moab Camping Trip

So I recently went on a camping trip with my Recreation-Nature Photography class. It was pretty sweet! I took lots of fun pictures and nearly froze to death! The first night I sleep in 3 pairs of socks, long underwear, my coat, hat, gloves, in a double sleeping bag...and I still though I was going to die. The second night we even woke up with snow!

During one of the windy days someone's tent flew away and dumped their clothes everywhere. Being the nice individual that I am I thought that I'd help them look for their stuff. But it was dark and I couldn't see well and then I stepped on a cactus. Stupid cactus. Lets just say it was slightly embarrassing limping off to my tent and everyone asking what happened!

So I'm not the best photographer...but it was fun practicing! Here are a few of my favorite shots.

So...I finally have a blog...

So I decided to get a blog because everyone's doing it. And you know I can't resist peer pressure. I've been extremely bored recently. It could be because I'm skipping work more and more. Yeah, that could be it...but who needs money? What...I have to pay my rent...oh, awkward... Well, what was my point. Oh yeah, I've been reading icanhascheezbuger a lot recently. And I've decided that many other people also have a lot of time on their hands...a few of my favorites...the first one reminds me of our old cat Dusty...poor guy.
